Standard Educational Counselling and "Choosing a School Guide"
How we can help you to choose a school

Telephone Consultation
Upon your instructions we will contact you by telephone to gather details of your requirements for schools for your children. You will also be asked to complete a short questionnaire to enable us to prepare a School Search Brief and research the schools in your new location.
School Search Master Plan
You will be provided with a comprehensive report detailing schools that meet your requirements and sources of additional educational information in your new location. Your report will contain the following sections:
Location Map
Mapping is included to help you to identify school locations within reasonable commuting distance from your new home.
School Search Brief
We try to get as much detail as possible into this so that we only include potential schools that meet your exact requirements.
Potential Schools
Select listings are given of potential schools (both independent and state as required) within your new location.
Quality of Schools
We provide prospectuses of suitable schools and other relevant educational reports. The Department for Education and Employment (DfEE) literature details Test and Assessment Results covering Key Stages I- 4 and including GCSE and A-Level results as appropriate. Background information on the school as well as Absence Statistics are also included.
Schools Reference
This is provided from our own library and augmented with relevant reformation from the Local Education Authority (LEA), DfEE, Office for Standards in Education (OFSTED) or other Independent Inspecting Body.
Choosing a School
Select publications covering the appropriate sections of the National Curriculum are provided and include Parent's Guides on Pre-School Choices, Key Stages 1-4 and Advanced Level Study, as appropriate. This gives a comprehensive overview of the British Schools System at a particular level and shows how to access appropriate information and make informed choices.
Proposed Timeframe
The personalised report would normally be completed within two weeks and telephone support would be available until you secure suitable schools in your new location
